PRIVACY POLICY

This policy explains how Turn&Bake collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit www.turnandbake.com or shop with us. We process personal data in line with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where it applies to you, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What data we collect

• Identity: name and surname; Turkish ID number if you provide it for invoicing.
• Contact: delivery and billing address, phone number, e-mail address.
• Order and customer data: products you buy, order history, returns and exchanges, messages you send us (e-mail or chat).
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, pages you visit, cookie data.
• Marketing: your newsletter subscription and preferences.

We do not store your card details. Card payments are processed directly by our payment provider iyzico.

3. Why we use your data and on what legal basis

• To take, prepare, ship and invoice your order, and to handle returns and exchanges (performance of a contract).
• To meet our legal obligations, such as tax, invoicing and consumer law requirements (legal obligation).
• To answer your questions, keep the website secure and prevent fraud (legitimate interest).
• To send you newsletters and campaigns, and to use analytics and advertising cookies (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).

4. Who we share your data with

• In Turkey: Aras Kargo (delivery and returns), iyzico (payment), our accountant, and public authorities when the law requires it.
• Outside Turkey: Shopify (store hosting), MailerLite (newsletter), Microsoft Clarity (website analytics) and advertising partners such as Meta. These providers may store data on servers outside Turkey. Such transfers are made under the safeguards required by KVKK Article 9 or with your explicit consent.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep order and invoice records for as long as tax and commercial law require (generally 10 years). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Other data is deleted or anonymised once it is no longer needed.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the store (for example, your cart and session), and, with your consent, analytics and advertising cookies. You can change your choices from the cookie banner or your browser settings at any time.

7. Newsletter

We only send marketing e-mails if you sign up. Every e-mail has an unsubscribe link, or you can write to info@turnandbake.com.

8. Your rights

You have the right to find out whether we process your data, to request information about it, to learn the purpose of processing, to know who it is shared with in Turkey or abroad, to ask for corrections, to ask for deletion, to object to results of automated processing, and to claim compensation for damages caused by unlawful processing (KVKK Article 11). If GDPR applies to you, you also have the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page.
